In my paintings, I like to use vibrant colors and fun, simple lines to portray a humorous image that will draw the viewer in. I come from a cartooning background, and that is often evident in my fine art pieces. Each piece often has an underlying story and deeper meaning, but outwardly I like to keep it light. Animals are often used as subjects, as well as double entendres, to explore such topics as love, sex, failure, hope, animal cruelty, feminism, the pros and cons of globalization, war, heredity, and whatever issue inspires me for any given piece. Despite having loads of opinions about most given subjects, I am utterly passionate about not taking myself seriously.
